Docboy's at Station One

The food is very delicious and the staff are amazingly sweet. I had the pleasure of speaking with the chef whom was humble and kind. Thank you for giving my daughter and I a great place to get delicious food right here in our local community.

Food was awesome and unique! Can't wait to try the Shrimp & Grits.

It was absolutely yummy. The chicken was perfectly seasoned and scrumptious. I want the potatoes to come with that seasoning! The dinner potatoes are HUGE like seriously gigantic. I should have taken a picture of the silverware next to it for size comparison. I added the bacon to the chicken and broccoli one, not a bad price point at all for the size and amount you get. The corn nuggets we're bursts of sweetness. My son had the Mac and cheese and fries kids meal, which he liked a lot with a bit bigger portion than typically kids meals. My husband devoured his strawberry shortcake for dessert and wouldn't even share, when I brought it home. The service was super friendly, even though we came in late. They were hospitality personified. Didn't make us feel rushed, welcomed us and we're super nice. Chef came out to check on tables a couple of times. This place is really good. We will definitely be back.

If I could give more stars, I would. On a weekend trip from Dallas, Texas to visit extended family, we had the unforgettable pleasure of dining at Docboy’s-not once, but twice that weekend. We’ve eaten at all kinds of restaurants and eateries all across the country, and I can honestly say that Docboy’s at Station One is now at the top of our Soul Food restaurant list!

The service is impeccable and the food is some of the best tasting Soul Food we’ve ever had. My family and I tried various entrees, sides, desserts and drinks, and none disappointed. The lemonade is uniquely flavored and refreshing, the dessert is both attractive & delectable, and the entrees and sides (including the vegetables) surpassed our palate’s expectations. We also ordered seafood, chicken, sandwiches, and more, and everything we tasted was absolutely delicious! I also love that there are some “healthier” options too!

We can’t rave enough about Docboy’s at Station One, and the attentive, professional and courteous staff. We’ve encouraged our family and friends in the area to check it out. I certainly can’t wait until our next visit home to Virginia because we will definitely be dining at Docboy’s again and again!
