Denny's

Food is good. Waitress pleasant does good job. Place is clean. I wish at times they would offer a few more kinds of vegetables.

The Denny's at the Flying J is a hit or miss. Half the time you get good service and half the time you don't. They are not big on good service. You can stand in line for up to 15 minutes before someone will seat you. Trying to pay at times is a joke. I stood at the cash register waiting to pay, while servers walk past me. The food is good, which is a point for them if you can get past the slow service. The 55 plus menu is the best bet when you go there.

Friendly staff. Salad was was good. Then I was bad and ordered the apple crisp dessert. OMG. HUGE scoop of vanilla ice cream surrounded by warm apple crisp with caramel drizzle. More of a dessert to share. Wound up eating the ice cream and taking the apple crisp with me. But oh so good.

Had an early dinner with my husband and daughter. Food was delicious. We were greeted and seated as soon as we walked in and our server (Denise) was at our table within a few minutes. She was friendly and efficient. Our food was out quickly and our drink glasses never went empty. Overall a fantastic experience! Thank you, Denise!
