Guru Indian Cuisine

Good food for the location. Though, I’m not sure I would consider it authentic. The restarting is clean and the servers are good. A good place to go if you’re craving Indian and aren’t particular.

Been dining here for at least 12 years and have yet to be disappointed. The food is great and the service is excellent. Their lunch buffet is a great deal and you get the same great service as when you dine off the menu.

Guru has moved to a new spot in Central Park - same great food and same great service.

I have been a regular for 10 years now. I have a bad reaction to many Indian restaurants. Not here. Great staff, lovely owner and fabulous food.

i really enjoyed the new venue (bigger than the previous one) Guru is a very good, tasty, flavorful and if you like spicy Indian food. 17 years ago I ate for the first time in the restaurant Guru, which speaks for itself. You can choose the level of spice in your dishes from zero hot to very hot. I dare you to eat without staining the tablecloth. For new people, I suggest you try the buffet first, because you will discover many new Indian flavors. The waiters from always , make you feel at home. Their Korma sauce is delicious, The mango ice cream is wonderful and here I discovered my affection for the Chai tea. Eating Indian food is like discovering, literally, a new world in your palate.

In a word, AMAZING!!! This was the absolute best and I mean best Indian cuisine that I have ever had. The food was so fresh and perfectly cooked. The Chicken Tiki was flawless and tender, made with breast meat delivered to your table still sizzling. Amazing service and all around the renovation and addition of booths made it more friendly. This restaurants chef cooks from the heart. My hat goes off to this skillful master of flavors. Bravo, bravo... I will be back soon and often.
