Metro Diner

Food was exactly as described on the menu. I went with a group of 8 co-workers while at a meeting in the area. No one had any complaints, the menu was varied (I had breakfast for lunch while some had soup/sandwiches), and the waitress was extremely attentive and prompt with all requests. Would come here again if I ever came back to town. Cute diner with good food.

1st time diner. Food was plentiful and tasty. Prices very reasonable. Staff were friendly. Service was quick. Will definitely return.

I arrived for lunch before noon on a weekday and it was already pretty crowded. I was a little turned off at first when I realized it was a chain, but decided to try it anyway. The place was modest. It was clean and the staff was friendly. I like that the waitress asked me if I wanted a straw with my drink instead of just giving me one. I don't ever use them and they just create more trash. Anyway, I ordered a special Chicken Salad Melt. This was an open face sandwich with two pieces of toast and cheese melted over the top of the chicken salad. It was very good. Almost too much food w/ the added side. The waitress remarked that the dish should be on the menu, because they have it as a special often and sell a lot. Maybe try it if you see it on the specials board. I will definitely return when I am in the area. Can't wait to try their breakfast.

The food..."Country Fried Steak and Red Potatoes covered will gravy"...was very good. I ordered a side of broccoli and it was seasoned nicely.
I will go back for the Shrimp and Grits and the Chicken and Waffles...soon.

The manager came over and asked how I liked everything. Great experience.

The food is awesome. Portion size is unbelievable. You definitely get your money’s worth. The staff is amazing. I highly recommend dining here.
