Twisted Fork Bistro Galax VA

Best restaurant find in Galax by far. Terrific house special pasta dish with plentiful portion. Took home enough for another meal.

Two people recommended this place at the hotel I was staying in. I am glad I took their advice. We received a friendly welcome as soon as we arrived. The choices were very interesting and reasonably priced. The bowls of pasta when they arrived to the table were fantastic. They were hot,fresh and tasty. You could really tell that everything was fresh. The portions were large as well. The blueberry bread pudding was fantastic.

Excellent choice for fresh pasta. House made noodles and custom choices for meats. Ask for the daily special if they don't tell you first.

When we asked for a restaurant recommendation from three different people in the area, they all said we had to try the Twisted Fork Bistro. They told us the homemade pasta was delicious although the prices were a little high. Given the good reputation of the restaurant, we had to give it a try.

The pasta turned out to be delicious. We had the Sausage & Pepper Pasta ($8.99) and the Lasagna ($10.99). The portion sizes were very large so we ended up taking some home.

The service provided by Hadley was excellent, both friendly and attentive. We intend to make a return trip to the Twisted Fork on our next visit to Galax.

The food is excellent. Staff friendly and efficient. Lasagna was much better than you can get at Olive Garden. Every thing is fresh and delicious!
