Los Portales Mexican Restaurant

I at there today (lunch) for the first time. The food was great and service was fast. The prices were very reasonable. Nice atmosphere but I was surprised what a tight fit the booth we were sitting in was. If you were a larger or heavyset person you would have difficulty fitting in because the distance from the table to the seat was very slim. My friend told me that not all of the booths were that tight so I guess they must size you up when they seat you. I heard they had a good deal on $5 - 32 oz margarita's on Wednesday but I haven't tried it..that will be another day.

Food was great. Large menu with lots of choices. I'm looking forward to going back to try different entrees. Oh, and no trouble with parking here! ;)

Food was absolutely amazing. The table side guacamole bar was delicious. Everything was completely authentic and fresh. The place was packed and had a line out the door but we still got seated quickly. The service was excellent. All the staff was very polite and charming. Would definitely recommend as the #1 Mexican restaurant in the area!

Very busy at dinner time. I made a to go order and it was ready right when they said it would be. Special instructions were followed and the food was fantastic! I also felt welcome which is very important to me.

We were quite surprised! A well done interior, fast service, and great food sets this "Best Of" restaurant apart from others! The dining room was near capacity when we arrived, but we were seated right away. Our server was on the ball, too, and the great tasting food was served hot from the kitchen!
