Bubba's Shrimp Shack

I had read great reviews about this place and my husband and I were going to be working in the area. So, thought we'd try it out.
My husband had never had soft shell crab and wanted to try it. He didn't love it. My shrimp was excellent.
The mac and cheese was a little different but good. I also had the green beans, took me by surprise how spicy they were..different but good. My husband would have hated them because he doesn't like spicy.
The hush puppies were a tad doughy inside. I was glad they had malt vinegar to go with them.

The food has always been good, and staff is always friendly. Restaurant is clean. My only reason for 4 stars and not 5, is because every time we have come within the last year or so, the size of the fish filets have shrunk considerably in size. I will most likely not be going back. I can get more for my money and get even better service at another restaurant just a few doors down. (Just my opinion)

We ate here yesterday for the first time and I must say, it was awesome! It was the BEST catfish I've ever eaten. Servers were friendly and the the service was fast! We will definitely be back when we are in the area again!

Recommend highly. Super food selections and prices. Very busy at lunch time but fast service. Take out is available. Give it a try.

Bubba needs to change ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!! This is probably the best seafood I've had anywhere! Don't be fooled by not many cars in front of the place if you go. When wife and I were there, there wasn't many cars there (in fact wondered if they were open) but there was a solid stream of people coming in and out with take out. If you are thinking seafood (the freshest) then this is a must stop. Very reasonable prices too.
