I had a very memorable stay here.
I've always wanted to have a garden, but living in an apartment in New York City this was not possible. On my first morning here, Miss Vagabond, after learning that I am interested in gardening, graciously let me accompany her to their garden. After showing me around, (THEY HAVE CHICKENS TOO AND THEY'RE SO CUTE) she even let me pick a melon, zucchinis, and cucumbers. I LOVE cucumbers. For breakfast that day (as well as the rest of the meals) we were served the veggies (and the melon!) and believe me, they tasted scrumptious. We also got to see the chicks come out of their coop for the first time ever and they were so adorable. Hope to come back, and maybe see the goats inshaAllah! ^-^

Staying at this mountain lodge was a wonderful experience for someone who has never been far from home in an urban environment. The place was perfectly clean and beautifully decorated. The food was delicious and atmosphere warm and welcoming. Can't wait to come back!

We came home to the hustle and bustle of the city, refreshed and nourished physically and spiritually after spending a week at The Sufi Lodge and Grayson State Park. James and Suzanne were wonderful, attentive hosts as they cooked and served delicious, halal meals in a clean, simple atmosphere. The place is warm and accommodating; ideal for those who want to escape the rat race of the city or those seeking respite from trail. You will feel welcomed and at home. We will be back. Highly recommended!
