El Agave

Was another great experience! My wife and myself had a wonderful dinner last night outside on the patio. As always the food was excellent!

Great food with a huge selection of dishes which I have yet to find a bad one. Also they have a good selection of beers and drinks as well. Love the service and the friendly attitudes of the employees as well.

Favorite Margaritas in Central Virginia. Very casual, authentic Mexican food. Very well priced. Go to the register inside to pay ????

So far this is the best Mexican food place that I've come across. The food was tasty and the service was fairly quick. The only reason I'm giving this place 4 stars is because the ground beef was bland and there were live millipedes wandering along the floor in the dinning area I was seated in. I ordered the beef fajita, although it was full of flavor, the beef was less flavorful. To wrap up my review, this place offered very flavourful foods, but could use some TLC in some areas. I will more than likely be returning in the future because my experience here was enjoyable.

We don't live in Virginia any more, but we used to be regulars at El Agave. Awesome Mexican food. Always hot, always well prepared. Prices very reasonable. Great service. Friendly people. I don't easily give 5 stars, but this place is consistently very good. If we still lived in Greene Co., we'd still go.
