(August 12, 2019, 9:15 pm)We love to come to Bistro 1888 for special events or ‘just because!’ The food and drinks are divine! Some of our favorites are the chicken angel hair pasta with sun dried tomatoes and heavenly spices, the crab cakes and shrimp, their “immaculate” rib eye (my husband’s words!) , and a chicken saltimbocca. Hors d’oeuvres are just divine, and their Chocolate Decadence dessert is truly ‘to die for!’ There’s a special feel there that is hard to beat! South Boston is truly fortunate to have this hometown gem!
