    Bistro 1888 is one of my all time favorite restaurants. The food is awesome, the service is great and the staff is always pleasurable! If you are ever in the area I highly recommend you to check them out!

    We love to come to Bistro 1888 for special events or ‘just because!’ The food and drinks are divine! Some of our favorites are the chicken angel hair pasta with sun dried tomatoes and heavenly spices, the crab cakes and shrimp, their “immaculate” rib eye (my husband’s words!) , and a chicken saltimbocca. Hors d’oeuvres are just divine, and their Chocolate Decadence dessert is truly ‘to die for!’ There’s a special feel there that is hard to beat! South Boston is truly fortunate to have this hometown gem!
