Brisket enchilada with rice and beans was great. Guacamole was good. Waitstaff was good. Chicken enchilada the chicken was so dry/overcooked I only tried to eat one piece. Had to drink water to wash it down.
A busy little bar. There mixed drinks are GOOD! The food is kicked down at the end of the bar so you know it's fresh. and they have a nice selection of food.
Since it opened I have been a regular patron of El Diablo. Eveything that I've tried has been delicious but my all time favorite dish is the big bowl with beef brisket. The serving size is huge and it's hard to stop myself from eating every bite and then licking the bowl. Yes, it's that good. If you're in Hampton and want a great non-chain restaurant with a cool vibe inside then try El Diablo!
The tacos were really good. I got the nachos with brisket. The Nachos were great. You could easily split the nachos with another person as a meal. I had the signature "El Diablo", wife got "La Mula." Neither of us were impressed with the first drink, but hers was great. Extensive list of tequilas for your margarita.
