We did not eat here but did a tasting. The shine was very good, the apple pie flavored shine was my favorite. The bourbon was average.
Good food and good bourbon. We had a great time in this tucked away restaurant which had delicious tapas.
What an amazing eating experience! The dates were fantastic. The sweet and sour combination was a great blend of flavors. I am not a huge fan of lamb. A suggestion of using salami as the protein in my gyro was an incredible substitution. I would have never thought of this combination. I have a brand new favorite! Then there is the staff. They were on top of everything. I WILL be back!
Wonderful sandwich shop with a great tasting bar. The shine is phenomenal. Quite a few different flavors to choose from. Each is unique and delicious. The common thread: they're all extremely smooth. The sandwiches are exceptional. Also, everything is very reasonably priced. Middle shot:150 Proof, 12:00: Apple, Red: Cinnamon, Dark: Cherry, 6:00: 5 Year Bourbon, 9:00: 100% Corn Vodka
I saw a sign for this place on the way to Richmond and had a bit of extra time. So glad I stopped. I tasted a couple moonshines and a couple bourbons and they were fantastic. But, the best part by far was the lesson I got on distilling. I wish I could remember the gentleman’s name, but he did an absolutely amazing job explaining the process and nuances of moonshine and bourbon making. Prices are excellent with a flight of 6 half ounce pours for $12. Love this place!
