    Really enjoyed the food! Prices were reasonable. We even got food to take home! Highly recommend!

    What a wonderful barbecue restaurant ! Everything I have tried here was absolutely delicious ! My favorite is the pork barbecue with the vinegar based sauce, but everything was excellent ! I have tried both types of pork barbecue, beef barbecue, baked beans, coleslaw, potato salad, green beans, homemade banana pudding and homemade limeade! They, also, have a tasty macadamia nut cookie! This is a family owned business and the staff is very attentive and friendly! Place was clean and inviting! Ashley was extremely sweet and friendly ! This little gem prides itself on quality and service! A must eat in this area! I will be back for sure!

    Absolutely some of the best barbecue I have ever eaten! Don’t miss out on this little gem! I have tried both types of the pork barbecue, the beef barbecue, baked beans, green beans, slaw, homemade banana pudding and homemade limeade! All were incredibly delicious! The vinegar based pork barbecue was my favorite, but all the barbecue was outstanding! This is a small family run business with emphasis on quality and service ! Staff was very attentive and friendly ! A must place to eat !

    If you're looking for good BBQ in the Mechanicsville area then this should be your new spot. Everything I bought from them was spot on. The Carter's BBQ combo was great flavor, texture and portion wise. The coleslaw was creamy and crisp. The baked beans had the perfect blend of sweetness. And by God the green beans were perfect. The lady running the front of the house was great also. And don't let me forget the Limeade....... Definitely worthy of the multiple awards they have won. I will definitely be eating here again.

    So good!! Stopped in at 510pm, staff always so friendly and appreciative of their customers. Food was ready in 5 minutes. Love the potato salad and corn bread. Good prices. I have also used for big birthday parties and work team events. Can’t go wrong!! Love this local bbq place.
