Islamorada Fish Company

Awesome food, huge aquarium to view, good staff. Never had a bad experience there. My only complaint is the tartar sauce is a bit thin, otherwise it would be 5 stars.

Although it was Father's Day, we were seated quickly. The service was good, but my fish & chips were crispy. I think the cook forgot the fish was cooking.

The food and service here is always excellent. Last night we were here for an intimate dinner for my birthday, and one of our party was late arriving so we were seated only 15 minutes before close. They were gracious and attentive and we felt very welcome even though we were seated so late.

We ordered the mussels and fried pickles for appetizers. The mussels were delicious and VERY tender. The fried pickles were surprisingly good. I'd order both again.

I also had clam chowder which was rich and thick. Some of the best I've had.

For my meal I had one of the burgers. It was thick and prepared just as I requested. They use Angus beef so the flavor was exceptional. They use a brioche bun, which was perfect for a big juicy burger.

Others at the table ordered the fried catfish (they liked) and the stuffed mushrooms (they did not care for them.)

Desserts were key lime pie which was presented in a deep bowl and bread pudding a la mode. I had the bread pudding which was dense, moist and wonderful. There was no key lime pie remaining so I assume it was yummy.

I'd definitely eat here again.
