    Truly wonderful people own and run this long time Harrisonburg establishment. They cook the incredible dishes and would love to hear that you enjoyed your meal. Super reasonable prices, large portions, in a clean, friendly, quite laid back and casual atmosphere. Spicy choices from 1/2 to 4. I love spicy food and 4 is pretty hot. I really enjoyed Lamb Saag and Nan bread. Dont pass up the opportunity to eat here. Superb

    The Indian and American Cafe brought me back to India. The flavors and presentation were both authentic. I ordered the veg somosas and Alu Miatar. Not only were they delicious but the spice was perfect. They give customers an option of 0.5-4 rating for spice. I ordered my dish at 3. A 3 was perfect for me, but it was far too spicy for my friend. If you're someone who loves heat, I would recommend a 3 for your first time there, since you can always add more later. After the two somosas and half of the Alu Miatar, I had to take the rest home. It was very filling and I'm looking forward to a tasty lunch with my leftovers!

    This is a warm and loving atmosphere. The owners and servers are awesome. We come in and feel right at home.
