Red Lobster

The shrimp in garlic sauce, the vanilla cheesecake, and our server were great. The rest... not so much.

The lobster and crab we're overcooked. The lobster bisque tasted like they had added flower to thicken it after thinning it too much. And, the crab linguine had shell in every other bite.

By far my favorite restaurant ever! Staff is amazing and very attentive. Food is always fresh and made exactly how you ordered it. And their alcoholic beverages are out of this world. The triple berry sangria is my fave.

You always know what you're going to get at the red lobster. Love it or hate it and there are people in both camps, it is consistent and delivering what it promises. It's clean and usually the service is excellent because I have never seen it full. I love seafood and it is one of the best places around here to get what I like. The staff is very friendly and efficient as well.

Very nice staff and hot, delicious food. Very cooperative regarding food allergies.

Update 6/15/19:

Ate dinner here again on the Saturday before Father's Day. The restaurant was busy but not so much so that there was a wait. Jennifer was our waitress and unfortunately we believe she was new because she didn't know the answer to any of our questions such as if the meals came with a salad, what days of the week the specials were on, or if they had Italian dressing. Easy questions really.

My husband and I each ordered the Parrot Bay Coconut Shrimp, he with mashed potatoes and I with broccoli. The shrimp was amazing as always but we were not impressed with the sides. My husband's mashed potatoes were a big ball where they had used a large ice-cream style scoop to plop them on the plate cafeteria style. My broccoli consisted of 3 or 4 florets and a bunch of broccoli mush like you'd see at the bottom of a frozen broccoli bag. The restaurant was freezing so by the time I ate 5 of my 10 shrimp the broccoli was stone cold.

I did tell the waitress about the broccoli mush so she could tell the kitchen. I wasn't asking for a discount or anything free and I generally don't send food back. She apologized but didn't seem overly concerned. I have a feeling she didn't tell a soul about it because previous visits where even a passing concern was mentioned immediately prompted a manager to come to our table to make sure everything was fine. No manager came over.

Overall our visit was average but could have been better. We will of course keep going back.
