Panera Bread

Please fix your payment machine. It was a known issue that Apple Pay has issues on the machine. Was advised by clerk to “keep waving my phone around the whole thing” to see if we could get it to work because it “does this a lot”.

Doesn’t work. Had to walk back out to car for card. Should have been a quick stop for coffee and smoothie.

I have been going to the Panera in Glen Allen- The Summit (off Broad Street) nearly every day on my way to work for a couple of years. Recently they have remodeled but it seems that there's some things that have not been worked out since the remodeling. I always enjoy the fresh brewed iced tea that they have at Panera. However since the remodel every morning the tea tastes stale and sometimes has sediment in it to the point I've actually thrown it away. I've tried every day for a couple of weeks and it's been consistently stale as if it was made the day before and left to sit. I have typically really enjoyed this Panera; it's very convenient. I really hope they will get back in their groove with fresh products everyday.

Update 06.25.2019: This Glen Allen Panera seems to be back to its old self with fresh brewed tea. The remodel seems to be complete and it looks modern and inviting.

I like Panera but don't love it. I feel like it's over priced for the portions that you get. It's not very user friendly either. The salt, pepper and condiments are under the counter beside the drink machine. Why would you put it in such a busy spot that you have wait or move around so many people?

Good food and good value for money. Clean, courteous restaurant and friendly employees.

Love salad options & can switch up toppings. White balsamic dressing is my favorite. French onion soup is the best, but I ask for extra cheese & croutons. Of course, sandwich, chips, cookies, breakfast, bagels, smoothie, tea, coffee and low sugary drinks. A bit pricey but wonderful staff
