A Sharper Palate Catering & Events

We recently hired A Sharper Palate for our wedding on May 11, 2019. Hope, our event coordinator, responded to our initial request within just a few days. We were given multiple quotes with detailed pricing allowing us to choose exactly what we wanted while knowing what we were paying for. This gave us great peace of mind. Hope was wonderful throughout the entire process, updating our quote within hours of the request and walking us through each step. On the day of the wedding, the staff was terrific. Dinner was ready to be served early, all tables were constantly bussed, and they took great care of our guests with gluten allergies and dietary restrictions. Most importantly, the food was exceptional! We would highly recommend hiring Sharper Palate.

We hired Sharper Palate to cater a cocktail reception and dinner for our Board of Directors. The staff and food were amazing. We have worked with different teams in the past but Keenan Angel and this crew were above and beyond. Everyone had a great experience from cocktails & appetizers to the delicious plated dinner and desserts. Look forward to working with everyone again. Thank you for a job well done!

We used A Sharper Palate for our wedding at the Valentine Museum in October 2018. The entire experience - from sketching out a menu, to discussing alcohol options, to the actual presentation at the wedding - was immaculate. Specifically, we worked with Hope and she really knocked it out of the park. Hope was extraordinarily receptive to our desire for a fall-inspired menu and came up with the following:
1. An autumn kale salad with fennel, apples, goat cheese, and a maple vinaigrette
2. Roasted chicken breast glazed with honey, black pepper, and sauteed roasted apples
3. Smoked beef brisket with horseradish creme fraiche
4. Roasted seasonal squashes with tarragon, scallions, and hazelnut vinaigrette.
5. Caramelized Brussel sprouts with sunflower seeds and red grape vinaigrette
6. Roasted potatoes with rosemary and garlic

Hope's menu floored us with her attention to detail and commitment to theme. More importantly though - it was damn good food. The service was absolutely impeccable.

I wish I had more excuses to cater events because A Sharper Palate would be my first and only call.

The made my wedding day easy! Keenan handled all of the rentals which made my life so much easier. My family and friends also said it was the BEST wedding food they have ever had.

We used A Sharper Palate for our backyard wedding, and they delivered above and beyond expectation. Keenan kept the whole family at ease on the big day, and made special deliveries to me and my husband to make sure we got a taste of everything. The food quality was phenomenal, and I couldn't be happier with the service.
