Long John Silver's

I CAME TO LONG JOHN WITH MY HUSBAND ON 6/26/19. THE FOOD WAS AMAZING. WE REALLY ENJOYED OUR DINNER. THE CASHIER WAS A YOUNG MAN . HE WAS WONDERFUL AND VERY NICE AND HELPFUL. I LOVE SPENDING .MY MONEY WHEN THE FOOD IS GOOD. THE FOOD WAS AWSOME IT LEFT A REALLY GOOD TASTE IN MY MOUTH. ALSO I COULD NOT EAT IT ALL. I TOOK IT HOME AND 3 HOURS LATER I HEATED THE FOOD UP AND IT STILL WAS GOOD. MY DAD MR. HENRY MAY ATE AT LONG JOHN SILVERS EVERYDAY . HE NEVER MISSED ADAY. FOR ABOUT 3 TO 4 YEARS MY DAD ATE THERE EVERYDAY UNTIL HE PASSED AWAY IN 2010. NOW I SEE WHY MY FATHER LOVED LONG JOHN SO MUCH. EVERY MONTH I TRY TO GO TO LONH JOHN AT LEAST TWICE A MONTH IN MY FATHER MEMORIES. LORD JOHN I GAVE YOU 5 STARS. ***** THANKS SO MUCH KAREN & GEORGE NASH. P.S. Overall, the food was good! However, one of their downfalls is that their chicken looks and tastes JUST like the fish. The shape of the chicken is different and you really know that it is chicken when you break it open. Otherwise, it has the same fish batter, outside texture, and tastes like it's cooked in the same grease with the fish.

That is a major deal breaker and kept it from receiving 4 stars from me. Please give the chicken it's own identity and taste by seasoning the batter differently and cooking it strictly in oil that cooks ONLY chicken.

Food is always good. Pretty good service. Looks well kept considering how long the building has been around

As far as comfort food is concerned Long John Silver is always a good choice. I found this location clean, tidy and staffed appropriately to render fast and efficient service. The staff was polite and professional. The food was hot, flavorful and marinated appropriately . It was served quickly at the anticipated price point. If you are looking for comfort and good service stop here and let Angel and the crew serve you a bucket a smiles and something to eat too.
