Casa Del Barco - Short Pump Town Center

Great place. We came for dinner on a Saturday and it wasnt too busy. I could see this place being great for happy hours or to get good drinks. The food was amazing. Everything tasted fresh and cooked well. This place is not like a typical chain Mexican restaurant. It's different yet some dishes taste true authentic. The service was also very friendly and attentive. I would definitely recommend.

This place is cute, trendy and they have amazing food. Went for a graduation party and it was perfect. We were upstairs and there was indoor and outdoor seating, it's own bar and the vibe was fun. Our bartender and waiter were phenomenal. Chris and I can't remember the name of the other one, Chad I think. They took care of everyone very very well. Thank you so much for the amazing experience !

The margaritas were good, the prices were reasonable for Short Pump Mall. Everyone in our party found our food to be underseasoned. There was no depth of flavor to any of your meat. Tasted like it had been briefly tossed in spice and cooked. I think this would be fixed if they marinated their meats, and didn't put such large chunks on the fajitas. Having the onions and peppers cooked so they don't crunch for the fajitas also would have been good. The service was good, atmosphere was nice, and the waitress was very sweet in listening to our concerns.

Went May 5 the first time since I had some visit out of town and they wanted to celebrate the date. The place is beautiful but the service was awful my friend actually had to stand up and ask for a refill in her soda.

We saw the server probably twice aside from when she brought our food and drinks.
I asked for a martini and they told me they had no olives. -1.
The only good thing is if you go with a few people you can order the party platter. The food is ok. At least it look appetizing. However if you are looking for good Mexican food this is not the place. I think my favorite thing was the street corn it was well made. Not as good as the real deal ( I had the opportunity to try it in some friends house) but the corn was cook perfectly.
