Great mimosas, fried chicken and waffles?? Uh, yes please! This place has great food and service. You should definitely expect a wait on the weekends, but trust me, it's worth it

Love it. Food is better than any other breakfast joint in the area, inching ahead of Silver Diner in that regard. Food is also inexpensive considering the portion sizes. The chicken and waffles are a calorie bomb, but definitely a great indulgence dish.

Breakfast served all day, friendly service, quick turnaround, creative daily specials.

Lacks the chromed-out diner aesthetic and parking is a little tight, but it's only crowded because of how good it is.

The metro diner has is a super busy establishment. At peak times it may be difficult to get a table but the wait has never been too long. The menu is pretty extensive and tends to be traditional American. The portions are huge. I have never ordered a meal that two people couldn't eat. The quality of the food is good. There's a nice selection. The wait staff is attentive despite it being busy. And issues with your order a corrected quickly.

The tomato bisque is truly outstanding. Most of their menu items are very good. Nice perk...they list calories on their menu.
The manager has been excellent on each of my visits. For a mainstream type food experience this restaurant works hard to make a simple meal a great experience. "Hats Off" to this location, they are well trained, friendly, and attentive. A+.

Simply Outstanding. Wifey and I enjoyed an outstanding after church meal. The marinated Chicken and Waffle was scrumptious. Service was excellent, environment perfect for a wonderful meal. Definitely a "5" star experience. Out of town folk will get a real taste of Richmond's love ????...
