Toast, New American Gastropub at The Village

We love Toast. They have unique food combinations. Brunch is awesome, the doughnuts are a must try. They are oversized doughnut holes, usually blueberry. They bring them to your table hot, then they put them in a paper bag with powdered sugar and shake...need I say more. Service is good. It is located in a small shopping center strip mall. Definitely recommend!

Nashville Chicken was average at best, Mac and Cheese was dry and all the cheese sauce was on the bottom, Toast burger was ok. The good news is the friend pickles and jalapeno appetizer was spot on and so were the sweet potato tots. Overall it's okay but not going to blow any foodie away. Should have gone to "Helen's" ????

Great rotating beer selection. I'm pretty picky and they always have a great IPA for me to try (and love!). Excellent customer service-- good people, conversation, and general atmosphere. The sweet potato tots are also AMAZING.

They had a pretty good selection of craft beer on tap. Good service. It was pretty busy during happy hour so we weren't able to get a seat at the bar for a while. Nice American bar atmosphere!

Bar staff is amazing. Been going for years. Would give 5 stars but want owners to know how ridiculous it is that the staff is not allowed to put the sound for the TVs on. Yesterday from 3-5:30 everyone in there was there to watch Virginia basketball game for March Madness. It was very disappointing to say the least. The food is mostly good. Some hit and miss. Cuban Ruben is out of this world good. Great atmosphere. Happy hour 11-7 daily can’t be beat.
