Sandston Smokehouse

I had spare ribs and brisket. Well cooked. Very taste. Sauces on the table were not that good but the meat was more than tasty enough without sauces. Looking forward to my next Richmond area visit.

This is an easy one. Clean cozy place with great food and service. One of the top 10 spots in the history of Sandston/Seven Pines in the past 50+ yrs. Not sure how long this place has been open, but I am glad that I finally went there. Highly recommended. Just hope they do well and remain open.

The food is delicious. My first time there I had the pork bar-b-que sandwich and it was amazing. For my second visit I tried the pork platter. This was a great choice. All tasted wonderful. The only down fall was the corn bread and that is based on how I like my cornbread... savory. They serve sweet cornbread which was fine but I prefer it savory.
Get there early as they were running out of items while I was there.
The service was great on my first visit but fell short on the second. Maybe that was due to running out of things.
Overall, a delicious experience.

I have to admit, this is pretty good. Had the brisket sandwich on a hoggie roll and it was excellent. They know what they're doing. Buddy with me had the pulled pork for the second time and liked it again. People are nice, they know you're the reason they are in business. Give it a shot.
