    This is the best place for sushi in the area, bar none. Prices are great and the food is even better. Wouldn't change a thing!

    Great sushi in a nice atmosphere. The fish is fresh and delicious, well presented, and the room is cozy. You are warmly greeted by the host and the service is prompt. They have a busy carry out trade which can slow things on occasion. Wish they could expand so as to accommodate both their eat in and take away business. This restaurant is a jewel, not to be missed.

    Better than delicious! Our 1st time there (takeout). Surely won't be our last. Sushi as good as any I've had anywhere, including Asia. The Calamari was the real deal...tentacles and all ???? Thank you, Sakana. Welcome to Hampton Roads!

    We love everything about Sakana! They treat us like family and the food is always great! Also plenty of options for vegetarians.

    One of the best kept secrets in Isle of Wight County. Hands down the best Japanese in the area. I've been eating here off and on since they opened and have never been disappointed. Excellent service, friendly staff, good prices and great food. You can't ask for more than that!
