Missed John but Cherie was very good.
Rusty Nail was struck perfectly. Bloody Maria was 3 olives perfect. Atmosphere matched food and service... deliciously outstanding. Monthly Whitley cuzn fete was delightful. We shall return in Sept.

I was so excited to visit and eat here on our trip! Our server was sweet and attentive. But, while the food was okay, it wasn't anything spectacular, especially for the price. I got the broiled seafood platter, and the scallops were disappointingly small - not nice and plump. The crab cake, flounder, and shrimp were all fairly good - just not very hot, neither was my baked potato. The hush puppies, while a good size, were tough. We ordered the hot fudge cake for dessert, and while it was yummy, it was all store bought. The pound cake was probably Sara Lee, and I'm sure the hot fudge was Smucker's. Again, it was okay, but most restaurants charging these prices offer scratch-made fare that makes patrons swoon. So....it was all fairly good, just not nearly to the level we were expecting. Our family spent well over $100 there, and we left feeling that it just wasn't worth it. I was disappointed, overall. ☹️

Paula is a national treasure! Service is always wonderful. The food is lovely. Always a special treat to make it to Sunday breakfast.

Service was kind of slow... friendly but slow, lost opportunity for more drink sales. The boom boom shrimp was good...my husband liked his sweet potato encrusted rockfish ..I had the Norfolk combo....it was more like butter soup. The seafood was good but I had to drain each forkful. It was supposed to be sauteed in butter not tossed into a bowl of butter. Zero garlic flavor despite the spoonful of minced garlic ladled on top of the dish instead of being cooked into the seafood
