Place looks very unassuming. Me and the Gf came here just to check it out didn't expect much but damn everything was cooked perfectly and the fries were bomb. I had the gator and gf had the catfish. Gator was nice and gamey Cat fish was perfectly fried and juicy. 100% recommend only thing I would change is that the bread they use for the sandwich is to thick and doesn't fit the flavor a wrap I feel like would go better.
Was looking for good seafood in the williamsburg area . But didn't wanna pay an arm and a leg for a little portion of food .. After looking through all the local spots, we decided to try Kelands . We were not disappointed. We both got the catfish basket. Catfish was fried to perfection , and the meat was melt in your mouth. Just be careful that fish takes a while to cool down . And the fries were very good . Good portion size. My wife subbed out and got red beans and rice .. she Loved them .
The staff was very friendly and appreciative. Give Kelands a try ,you won't be disappointed!!
Our family tried Keland's for the first time last night - we will definitely be back! We ordered the crab balls (wonderful - a little kick to them), shrimp po'boy, and the catfish po'boy. The servings were very generous (I will get two meals out of it) and the prices were competitive. Everything we had was very lightly breaded and cooked to perfection. The staff was friendly and answered my questions.
Came here with my daughter and some friends. Customer service was great. The menu had more items than I thought there would be. I ordered the Boudin and Catfish Po Boy and loved it. Great value for the price and the food tasted great. My favorite was the Boudin. Will be coming back again!
Being from Louisiana you know we had to go try this place out and we were not disappointed. I had the best Shrimp Po Boy I've had in years and my wife had the Cajun Alfredo, which was great as well. I would advise others, however, on the "Grab-N-Go" status which means there is very little seating and is more of a take out place. Don't let that deter you though or you'll regret missing out on that great Louisiana flavor!
