This place is excellent place for lunch. I occasionally end up in Lexington with work this has became my go to place for lunch. They have good sandwich specials. I suggest the meatball with cheese. They also have 10" lunch pizza had the other day was also good.

Frank's Pizza and Subs is a small mom and pop shop full of great food at extremely low prices for the taste and portions. We are passing through Lexington, Virginia and soooooo happy that we stopped by and tried it. The menu includes salads, subs, pizza, calzones, pasta and full meals. I wish that we had one where we live, I recommend this place to anyone in and around Lexington, Virginia.

Frank's Pizza is good, quick food in a comfortable setting. Mostly Italian-based menu with a decent variety. The cheesesteak sub is a favorite. Lots of take-out business.

Not a bad pizza place, but I think their most lackluster quality is staff attitude. For the two times I've been, I've ordered ahead of time for pickup. Both times the woman answering the phone sounded unfriendly and quick to get you off the phone. I attribute this to having many patrons, but even during pick up, the cashier does not seem very friendly or welcoming.
As for the food, I would say it's on par with most pizza places, nothing sticks out as amazing. The pizza was a bit underdone when I arrived and had to wait an extra 10 minutes on top of the 20 minutes after I placed the original call.
The sub was fine but something about it tasted off, perhaps the salami or the dressing used on the Italian? My family and I could not put our fingers on it.
I think if you're tired for the night or you're just a normal college kid in the area, this place could be fine for you, but if you're looking for great food, this isn't the place.
