Amazing food, great service and the best addition to Lexington! Everything was fabulous, the atmosphere and food, be sure try the tuna tostados and the burger! You won’t be disappointed!

Just what Lexington needed. The renovation of the old University Cleaners building has been impressive, and the restaurant space completes the transformation. The ambiance at Hardens—dark tones, great music, fun crowd— is sophisticated, local, and welcoming. At wife and I have been 4 times— great for date night, or fun with group a friends.
Incredible craft cocktails served by Bill and Jess Harden from the huge (15-seats, I think?) custom bar (the Runnin’ Down a Dream is my favorite) are a highlight. And even with high expectations, the food menu from Chef Matt has consistently impressed. The tuna tostada and wings are favorites from the starter menu, and the smash burger, Korean rice bowl (add steak!), and steak frites are stand-outs on the dinner menu.
Get there early, or expect to have a bit of a wait. New patio seating opens up more space outside. Great addition to downtown dining options in Lex!

Love the cocktails, the queso, and especially the wings! Awesome atmosphere for happy hour or a romantic date night.

Hardens is a very welcome addition to the Lexington restaurant scene. Their menu is unique and all of the dishes are crave worthy delicious. Their drink menu is the best in town. Bill and Jessica have created a great space where everyone feels welcome and no one leaves hungry

Hardens is the place to go now in Lex. Wonderful service, delicious food, inventive cocktails, and a beautiful atmosphere. Highly recommend
