Love this place. Food is excellent. Atmosphere is great. Food is definitely worth the price and is five star. Particularly enjoyed the wedge salad and filet. While our server was very good, we would have expected just a tad better attention to detail. Great place.
Extremely delicious. Bloody is great, get the Cajun. Crab omelette and crab cake Benedict were to die for. Service and pre brunch pastries were icing on the brunch cake.
This place is so quaint, so charming, so full of history it's impossible not to love it. I have not stayed at the hotel but I have eaten at the Tavern and the food and service is top notch. Don't breeze over the history summary on the menu you'll be floored by its richness. If you have guests from out of town bring them here to get the flavor of rural Loudoun hunt country. I hope this town and Inn keeps its idyllic charm forever.
Amazing crispy duck. I ate every single bit of it. The duck was served with mashed sweet potatoes and Brussels sprouts. Although the menu stated the sprouts were baked. They appeared to be steamed. My partner had the oversized pork chops and he raved about it all the back to the resort. The Venue itself appeared clean and orderly. Tables well spaced apart so you are not seated on top of one another. Several different rooms to choose from to dine. Hardwood floors throughout. No complaints about anything. Please go and experience the duck.
This is definitely one of the best restaurants I've ever dined at. The friendly and attentive welcome by the hostess set the tone for the remainder of the evening. Our server was a very nice and well-groomed young man. He answered all our questions about the menu and gave me a detailed summary about each of the wines in the flight. I had mentioned to our hotel concierge that fried chicken is one of my favorites and she immediately suggested that I order it. It exceeded all my expectations. The crust was crunchy and nicely browned and, yet, the interior was juicy and bursting with flavor. At the same time, my daughter loved her plate of gnocchi. She was even kind enough to offer me a taste; it was delicious! We're planning to go back with friends during the holiday season. I can hardly wait!!
