Super sweet cozy place, great bean curd (tofu) options.
Food is fairly expensive. Pretty average preparation time. The one deal breaker is the lack of consistency--one day it's great, another it's a grease covered sauceless mess. It's been like that for several years so I don't expect a change. All in all a good restaurant.
Great food, but a bit pricy for Chinese.
I absolutely love this place when it comes to sushi in this area. The staff is very friendly and I have never had an issue with them being anything but attentive.
The prices are very reasonable considering the sushi portion sizes are so large. The individual pieces of nigiri typically take 2 bites to finish unlike many places where 1 bite it sufficient. They have some unique rolls as well. Try the Creamy Diva or the Purcellville roll if you’re looking for something a little different.
Don’t let the modest front of the building fool you, the food is great quality!
Displeased with most other Chinese takeout in the surrounding area toward West Virginia, Pen's certainly offers higher quality than others like it yet it's certainly nothing to recommend. For the portion sizes at the prices they are, meals are light and seem overpriced. Very little rice was included, while other locations are actually generous for it. While ordering takeout, picking up my order was actually the most negative aspect of my experience. I stood for over five minutes as two employees walked around in a completely empty store yet did not acknowledge me or someone else to welcome me. It was only after this time that one employee finally appeared and urged me to pay with cash as opposed to using a card.
