West End Wine Bar & Pub

We had a fantastic Valentines day dinner here. 4 course meal with generous wine pairings. We have been here on other none special occasions and also had great service. Menu is slightly on the pricier side, but service is fantastic.

We sat in the pub. The atmosphere was laid back and friendly. The staff was very knowledgeable about the food and wine selection. Highly recommend!

Good atmosphere, friendly staff but average food experience.

My prime rib came out cooked to order perfectly but the seasoning and sauce were just ok. The potato was not fully cooked came with no butter and was cold. I'm not sure what seasoning was on the brussel sprouts but they had a mild fish taste to them.

I will give west end another try and update this when I have.

Maybe it’s just me, but the staff is not very friendly (in the bar) and the acoustics make it difficult to hear and have a conversation. Sometimes there is live music and that makes it nearly impossible to hear in the small space. The space is asthmatically very pleasing with old stone and rustic wood components.

The creamed spinach is worth eating with a spoon to get all the sauce. Too good to leave behind. The fettuccine with meatballs was good but needed more salt. The meatballs were close to the size of baseball. Great wine. The interior is simple but quite nice. The bathroom is beautiful.
