Roots 657 Cafe and Local Market

I’ve been here twice now. Most recently, I ordered the brisket sandwich. It was a little bland, but delicious overall. Parts of the brisket were dry and other parts were very moist. It was an inconsistent sandwich. Last time I went, I ordered the she crab soup and that was phenomenal. Overall, the ambiance is nice. I would still recommend trying the place out.

The wife and I had a really good experience at Roots. The building itself is interesting. The food was tasty. Their coffee is great. They have wine and beer. They bring the food to your table. They have a variety of seating options. Parking is easy access and the views exterior are nice. I'd recommend you try Roots and see for yourself.

Very cute pull off spot for a quick, but very healthy bite to eat. It was great to see they served local beer and wine. Black bean veggie burger and BLT were both great!

The food at Roots it’s amazing. I always get the roots salad with grilled pork and am thrilled evwrytime. The environment is perfect for large groups! However, do not go close to closing time. I recently went at 8:00pm (they close at 9) and they were basically shutting down at 8:00pm. The cashier even asked me if we were taking our order to go. In my opinion, if you’re open until 9, you should be fully open to serving guests well an hour before closing time. Not to mention, the drinks were put away and they staff was mopping by our table at 8:15pm. I will continue to go to Roots because I love the food, but I think they should reconsider the timing of their closing procedures or change their closing time.

This place is amazing. I heard they had some of the best burgers around and they did not disappoint. I like the deli market feel that this place has. Lots of local items to purchase. So on to the food, me and my girlfriend went for lunch, ordering was quick and easy, and our food was out just as fast. I got the roots burger which came with a farm fresh egg. You could taste all the ingredients were fresh. I will definitely go here again and will recommend it too all my friends and family.
