I'd met Curtis online through friends. My wife is from Western NY, and very picky about pizza. We were going to Delirium, another of his restaurants, and I decided we should try Wild Wood too. It was her birthday, and pizza would be the perfect comfort food to enjoy while staying in. We got Margherita and San Andreas pizzas, a caesar salad and meatballs. The pizzas were done perfectly, with a crispy crust that you could pick up folded with no sag. The salad was good, but the meatballs stood out. My wife didn't know that meatballs were a specialty, and the key staple of Balls of Glory that he'd also founded. A great combination.

We're so glad we were able to stop by. It's such a cool place. The decor remind us of our childhood in Chicago, tasteful organized graffiti (yeah, yeah, we know it's NY). We came a little after lunch so it was quiet but we were so hungry and excited to eat that we forgot to take a bunch of pics. The lunch special is such a great deal, you really can't beat it. Salad, pizza and a drink for $8.50. Of course I pick a meatball topping a nod to the now closed balls of glory and the meatball was great as usual, now if I can get that Rosemary sauce on that pizza I may be addicted, who cares about being lactose intolerant! The Ceasar salad was fresh and crisp as always with a generous amount of cheese. My husband got the same with sausage topping, he didn't share but I'm sure it's good. We can't wait to go back for a full size pizza. Now for the service... Our server was great, funny thorough and attentive, couldn't ask for anything better. Overall such a great experience.

After a couple weeks, we went back and all is much improved. We got 3 pizzas to go in less than 20 minutes. The order was correct. And the pizza was absolutely delicious. What a turnaround. Great job Curtis!

--- waited an hour for 3 take out pizzas. Zero salt, zero ferment dough is untenable. Beer selection was great. 2 of the 3 pizzas ordered were not the correct pizzas. Didn't order a pizza with bacon. Didn't order a pizza with chicken...doesn't seem to be a pizza on the menu with chicken...but we got one. Pizza is easy but this place isn't delivering on the fundamentals.

Very good pizza! The staff was very friendly and the pizza came out quick.

It was a nice combination of crispy and chewy. Nice large pepperonis, and a nice little kick to it. The mozeralla cheese was fantastic.

They are still working out the kinks, and we will surely come back to enjoy some more pizza and other menu items.

Amazing pizza and excellent customer service. Pricing is a little in the higher side but you can definitely taste the freshness of the pizza. We went in and sat around 6pm and finished eating inside the restaurant and got checked out around 6:40pm.
    Fast and great tasting pizza!
