The beef combo was great portion and good. I’m not sure about All you can eat. They brought too much of same meat. I wanted to try different meat but couldn’t. They were pretty slow bringing all you can eat meat. They were super quick on grilling combo meats. The server grilled the meat for you on combos meats but not all you can eat meats. I will visit one more time and see.
Nestled in the quaint culinary desert called South Riding is an establishment that dares to introduce a modern dining option to the area called Korean BBQ. This write-up may seem like it's written ten years ago but that's how long it took for South Riding to accept and welcome a Korean BBQ joint along with various other really decent Asian food joints like Bonchon, bubble tea cafes as of late.
Hopefully, families and residents in the area will realize that freshly grilled meats is far heathier than all the nearby prepared, par-frozen, fast fried foods peddled by mega-chain coroporations that dot the major throughway.
We came for Thursday dinner ($36 AYCE per person) and we rolled out the restaurant fat dumb and happy. Kinda surprised by the low customer traffic. But in a small greedy way, I kinda like dining at Korean BBQ during non-rush hour since this means the meat & bonchon comes super fresh and fast while attention to service is never late. And the fridge is fully stocked with glasses ready for all the competition soju bombs you can take.
Assuming the Qui South Riding team ironed out all the soft opening issues you may have read about a month ago, all the moms that are short on time or sick of cooking at home should bring the fam to Qui. Heck if korean BBQ's existed so close to my high-school, my friends and I would be hitting up Qui almost every 2 weeks and our parents wouldn't even mind. So kudos to you, Qui, and hope to drop by again real soon.
Korean BBQ has hit the high wire of Ashburn/Loudoun, Qui. This franchise style BBQ is a hot spot, and we don't have to travel to Centreville. The all you can eat buffet is delicious with some unique meat flavors, cumin pork belly, and butter chicken something never had before in Korean bbq, not too BBQ, my fav spicy port belly, beef brisket and bulogi .... of course, green grape soju.
