Bracket Room

Beer and booze selection is great. Medium burger was well done. I asked for a salad instead of fries and it came with fries.

• Conveninent location to my gate, decent food, fairly quick, had issues with my card.

• This spot was very near my gate for the next flight, so the location definitely was convenient. Beer came nice and cold, so no complaints there. Their tator tots (up charge $1.5 from fries) are worth it, it's basically fried pieces of mashed potatoes with lumps in them, so different, but tasty. The wrap was a little light on the chicken, it was mostly in the middle where they cut it so it seems loaded with meat, while the rest of the wrap was lettuce.

• They had issues with my card. According to my bank they tried to run the transaction with PIN, which doesn't make sense, since they don't bring you to the terminal to enter it in, nor do they bring the portable machine like they do in Europe. My bank said PIN was entered wrong. Never have I ever been asked for PIN at a US restaurant, worked fine 2x the same day elsewhere.

If you are flying out of Washington Dulles International Airport you simply must stop by the Bracket Room in B terminal. The menu is incredible, not your typical airport fare by any means. I tried the fried chicken sandwich and it was perfectly crispy and unexpectedly juicy. I am a huge fan of sauce and this place does sauce right. They have an entire selection of house-made sauces! The bartenders are great and they have probably the best Airport drink specials I've ever seen.
