Got there a little early, but they were able to seat us and get started. The service was attentive, ingredients are fresh & The dinner portions are huge (Great for lunch the next day)

Awesome food as you can see by the photos, portions are enormous, service is spot on, drinks are well made and generous. We have been regular customers for some time now and have seen the restaurant change hands for the better! Try them out you won't be disappointed!!
UPDATE: We went back last night and as cold as it was outside, it was wonderful to be treated so warmly inside. Food and service just as fabulous.

Best sushi I've had in Virginia, and good prices as well. The sushi chef did an amazing job, and the rest of the staff were all very friendly. Though we did not do the hibachi, we did see one take place and it seemed quite fun as well!

Kobe Bonsai on Edd's Lane in Sterling is absolutely the BEST Japanese restaurant we have ever been to! It far surpasses the Japanese restaurant that was previously in the same location.They use higher quality ingredients than other restaurants, and it really comes through in the dishes. We have been twice now, and were extremely impressed both times. The owner and his staff are friendly, personable and attentive. They add a little something extra to the presentation, they don't keep you waiting for Hibatchi, and the portions are more than generous..Highly recommend!

Had dinner there tonight and couldn’t be happier. Food was phenomenal, and service was just as excellent. Will definitely be back soon.
