IHOP

Our wait person, Sherry, was very good, friendly and checked on us frequently. Service was good and better than some prior experiences. Food was hot and delicious.

Being a visitor in Virginia and 3,000 miles away from home, it was comforting to find an IHOP close by to where I was staying. The menu was familiar with the same delicious offerings I always have trouble deciding on what to order because EVERYTHING looks so wonderful! I was also given the same outstanding service from the staff as I've always been acustomed to with the only noticeable differences being the
Southern accents that we're very charming!

Nice place generally. Bit busy at mealtimes. Food was good, but they were out of spinach and a few other things I was interested in. My eventual wrap was ok, but not what I chose originally. The food for my party was good, but there were a lot of fries not eaten. Staff was attentive and friendly.

It wasn't terribly busy when I arrived but the server greeted me warmly and showed me a table. She made a point of telling me she was new but you'd never know. The service was very good and considerate. I witnessed my server having an interaction with a customer who seemed to be having a difficult time in her personal life. I was moved by her ability to be empathetic with a complete stranger and in fact, I had originally assumed they knew one another. It's nice to be reminded that people are still people no matter the circumstances. All in all a very pleasant experience with both the server and either the manager or another server who was mentoring my server. Food was great as it always is. I was just passing through town, hope to again some day. Thanks for the experience.
