Tavern on the Green at Spring Creek Events

Food and service were excellent and it’s always a pleasure talking with Skip. I hadn’t eaten Skips food since he left Lake Monticello. ( Probably 2 years). Skip remembered my name and a lot of things about me. Our waitress kept are drinks filled, and preformed flawlessly. Great company, food and drinks. We will be back.

This place is absolutely amazing! Our server was very nice, and the Creme Brulee is the best I've ever had! the chef came out afterwards and we chatted a bit. Great place, will come again.

I have visited the restaurant many times because I live in Richmond and it's a great location to meet my Charlottesville friends. The food is fabulous and has always been consistently good. I cannot however give it a 5 because the service is always extremely slow. I want to make a point though. The staff is always friendly but always seem flustered. It seems like they are always new. I'm guessing this happens because there is not enough traffic for the server to make a decent amount of tips. I wish this little gem of a restaurant would get more patrons because then maybe there wouldn't be such a staff turnover. The food is fabulous so go give them a try and don't be in such a hurry. Enjoy your dinner companions.

Did a wedding rehearsal dinner here. Staff (especially Shannon and Skip) did an incredible job hosting and were quick to respond to any needs. Would highly recommend
