7 Rooftop Bar

It was an okay experience. Very pretty view, but it is unfortunately very loud, especially if a large group is sitting behind you. The drinks were good, but nothing special. I would be more excited to come back if there were more unique cocktail options. We did not try the food so that would be another reason to return. I wish there was an online food menu (if there is I haven’t been able to get to it). I will say the glass tables where you overlook downtown looked pretty gross, especially when the lights are shining right up through it.

For the age of the establishment, 5 stars, but some opportunities for improvement.

We went on a Wednesday afternoon, 5 adults had a selection of cocktails and food items. Drinks were 5/5, food 4/5, view was off the charts.

Menu items could do with a little more finessing, but strong flavors represent well overall.

Prices are high, but think of it as paying for the view.

I believe there were 7 beers on tap. I'd like to see more given the excellent local brewing scene and the fact that it would make spending more time here that much easier.

Server was very good if perhaps inexperienced for the price point (plates cleared off the table when some people are still eating). If I'm paying semi-fine dining prices I'd like just a little more etiquette from the wait-staff. Drinks came immediately with three bartenders at hand (loved that), but some food came out extremely (almost too) quickly, and then some came out 5 minutes later. Only one plate per person, so opportunity to improve here.

All in all I look forward to going back and seeing the place (and hopefully menu) grow.

I've been more than a couple times since this bar opened, and every time my party and myself and enjoyed ourselves. The food and cocktails are great, the service is excellent, and the view over the James makes for a fun afternoon.

Very pricey on drinks. $15 on top shelf shots. Atmosphere is great as well as the view. Menu is getting better fast. They started a few weeks ago with no food, then sandwiches or pizza from downstairs and good food for what they offer.
