County Sunrise

Great first experience at County Sunrise. The Lavender London fog drink wasn't that good for being almost $7. The food was delicious, though (we got chicken and waffles & the 2lb burrito). The overall atmosphere was good, but the items on the menu were a little pricey. Music was a little loud for being 7am, but besides that, 5/5 stars. Our waitress was very sweet and welcoming!

New favorite breakfast place, THE breakfast place in Lynchburg. Don’t get me wrong, Lynchburg is full of outstanding breakfast spots, but this takes the cake in my personal opinion. From the presentation, to the friendly service, hot coffee and smoked meats, this is why this place takes first place in local breakfast places. I’ve never had such amazing breakfast meats. From smoked bacon cooked to perfection to the pastrami hash, meats are out of this world. We’ve been searching for a breakfast place that serves good hash, I’m not talking out of the can nasty hash, but good hash. NOT ONLY is this hash good, it’s smoked to that County Smok perfection we’ve all come to know and love. Go get breakfast or lunch here, you will not be disappointed.

For those in a hurry to know the scoop on this place so you can head out the door quickly, my bottom line is 10/10, 5 star, outstanding meal and service. Hurry, go eat there!

Ok, now I’ll give a few details:
Y’all. This place is by far the best place to eat breakfast or lunch in the ‘Burg!

Their menu is wide range and has something for everyone! I enjoyed immensely the basic breakfast, and I upgraded the toast for a bagel and cream cheese, and it was absolutely delicious! It was as if my grandmother made those eggs, made to order, not hurried/over cooked from sitting on the griddle too long like many (if not most) breakfast places. These were perfection. Bacon was crispy and fabulous and those hash browns, incredible. The next time we visit, which will be very soon, I will definitely be ordering the potato latke Benedict!

My husband, the adventurous one when it comes to ordering, ordered the Shakshuka (it’s a North African meal) tomato and egg dish, and loved it!!
We were given a baskets of “noshies” while we waited for our meals and it included a mini version of some of their items that are available at full sized. Genius idea! Every little bite was heavenly. Served with apple butter, and carrot cake preserves. Gracious it was delightful. They offer a full coffee bar of delicious drinks but we enjoyed their regular pot of coffee.

The staff: where do they find these people? Our server, Ruth was joyful, attentive, had a no rush attitude, and made us feel like a welcomed guest.
We hope to sit in her section again soon!

Obviously the cook staff and Pastry chefs were extremely detail oriented and careful to make sure each dish was not only delicious, but presented nicely.

The manager, Michelle was welcoming and came by to make sure we were enjoying our meals. They want you to leave full and happy, that’s for sure. No wonder this place is so popular.

I love their wait system. When you arrive, you are put on the waitlist if there are no tables available. They take your phone number and text you when your table is ready so you can wait in the car, or outside of the restaurant on benches, and there’s a small area indoors, which is perfect for the elderly etc. to have a warm comfortable seat while waiting. It is well worth waiting. I promise you that!! It will be our go to for breakfast from now on! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

New breakfast king. Seriously the best. I had chicken and waffles and my daughter got the stuffed French toast. We shared each and both were phenomenal. (Not overly sweet, just right). Looking forward to going back and trying something new!

Delicious! A really thoughtful menu filled with unique choices and made fresh ingredients. I had the Loco Moco and my company had the Omelette! Both amazing and full of flavor. The eggs were cooked perfect and that gravy, oh my. I will definitely be back to eat my way thru the menu.
