MISSION BBQ

The food was absolutely delicious.
Friendly staff And my order was ready In a timely manner. The prices were higher than I expected though.

Last Saturday we had an experience at Mission BBQ in Lynchburg that words cannot do justice. My father, who is a WWII vet was treated like royalty from the moment he stepped into the restaurant until he left. We participated in honoring our country during the National Anthem at noon, enjoyed a delicious meal, and touched beyond measure by the way my father and his service to our country was respectfully honored by the staff and others who were there to just enjoy their lunch! Thank you to the staff for warming the hearts of so many along with serving delicious food for people of all ages!

Mission BBQ rocks!!!!!

This was a takeout order of a pound of pulled pork and a quart of coleslaw. I'm not local, and this was recommended by my aunt and uncle that live here.
I must mention that I'm originally from Memphis, TN, home of planet Earth's best barbecue. Having eaten barbecue on three continents, I stand by that statement.
That being said, Mission BBQ is very good. This batch we had was a little on the salty side, but had the soft density and smoky char necessary to qualify as good barbecue. The accompanying sauce was tangy and sweet, and was pleasantly thick.
The coleslaw had a great creamy, crunchy texture. It was perfectly seasoned and featured a blend of cabbage, carrots, and purple lettuce. It was an excellent complement to the barbecue.
The staff was friendly and they got our walk in order ready quickly. They have Pepsi products, and a military ambiance that demonstrates pride in the ethics of the armed forces.
Mission BBQ is a great place to satisfy your craving.

Absolutely great. They let you put what sauce you like and is all cooked fresh. You know it's good when everyone waiting in parking lot when it opens they head for the door. GREAT BQ and yea maybe a little higher cost but you pay for good food . And they support our troops and 1st responders as I gave 17 years to my local

Awesome place!!!! food was delicious for take out.. Staff was super nice.. I'm so glad they matched up to the one in Roanoke.. I'm so excited they are here in Lynchburg... keep up the good work...
