The Dahlia Restaurant

While visiting Lynchburg we found this gem online. The food was amazing! As a Canadian grits aren’t part of our diet but the Cheesy Shrimp and Grits was incredible! Good wine and wonderful service.

My girlfriend and I visited The Dahlia Saturday evening and had a very pleasant experience. Wait staff was nice and food was great. I had a Mushroom Blue burger which I asked to have cooked medium, and it was just right. My girlfriend had Steak Sandwich cooked medium rare and it too was cooked just right. Will be going back.

Bryant (our server) offered my guest and I a fantastic experience. He was extremely professional and seemed to go out of his way to ensure our visit was perfect. The food and drinks were top notch. I had the Chicken Fried Lamb Chops with Cheesy Grits and Broccoli. There was nothing usual/ordinary about this food... It was amazing! Absolutely, one of the best meals I've had in my life. Everyone at my table was extremely satisfied with their meal and the service. I'm only sad that I do not live around here, but when life brings me back to Lynchburg, VA again I will be front and center at this establishment. Thanks again Bryant and the rest of Dahlia!

I am not from Lynchburg but we bought a home here. This place would be top notch even if located in Austin, L.A, Dallas, Nashville... even New Orleans which are my home-stay cities. Seafood market next door supplies the FRESH seafood. Dependable Lamb Shank for comfort food. Sides are great, looks like a dump from outside but urban semi-chic indoors with good lighting for those of us over 40. Sides are great Antone makes the best martini in town. Almost always open except really late late night. My favorite local food gig. Seafood is the best, and no worries about freshness flown in to the market next door constantly. I took people from Beverly Hills, Manhattan and Austin here and all loved the place. Gentrified dump executed perfectly. Don’t let the exterior fool you. There is a pearl in, “that there,” oyster!

Save your money from fast food places. This place is really good. Fast service. Great prices. Nice people. Please check them out. You wont regret it.
