The Neighbors Place

This was are first time here. It will not be the last. I can’t say enough good things about this restaurant. My family and I were here I Lynchburg, for my mother’s funeral service. The service was outstanding, Kayla was very friendly and our order was taken without haste. the atmosphere was perfect. My girlfriend had a delicious Vegetable plate, and I had the Skirt steak, perfectly cooked MR and perfectly seasoned. The sweet potato casserole was awesome and the grilled asparagus, yum. It was topped with lightly fried onion straws. The bananas foster was good, but it a bit soupy and wasn’t traditional. I do agree with doing you’re own thing, but this item should have stayed traditional. The only negative was the hostess staff, not friendly and rushed us to our table, plopped The menus down, and left without a word. I was in the business for over 30 years and that type of treatment can turn people off quickly. We will definitely be back.

We were celebrating Fathers day a little early with my father n law. The food is so so good! Our server, Joelle was the best in the business. The whole experience was fantastic. I had the skirt steak, gosh it was tender and full of flavor. My husband had scallops with shrimp and grits. Oh my gosh, those grits were amazing. I don't like scallops but these were delicious. My in-laws had seafood plates and they loved them just as much. No complaints from us. Perfect evening. Can't wait to go back and get those grits, something new on their menu.

I've gone here with my husband, brought my parents here, and even had my rehearsal dinner here because I love this place so much. The food is incredible, the service is wonderful, and the atmosphere is lovely as well. I haven't tasted something here that wasn't great!

Took my mom here for the first time today. I can honestly say that this was the best lunch I've had in a year. All sandwiches available as wraps; fresh tasting, good quality ingredients, perfectly spiced. Mom got a seafood Asian dish & for the first time ever, ate everything on her plate! My grilled asparagus was perfect & my Buffalo sauce Po Boy wrap was scrumptious. Our waiter was on top of his game & lunch just flowed. Will definitely be back!

What a wonderful meal! We cannot say enough good things about this place. Johnny, our waiter, was exceptional. We eat here every time we visit our son at Liberty. He is graduating this weekend and we were saying we will have to visit anyway just to eat here!!
