We had such a wonderful time at the Inn at Meander Plantation. These will be memories we’ll cherish for sure.
We were greeted warmly by Eric and Mary and were given a tour of the building and the cottage we’d be staying in.
It was a particularly hot weekend and the AC in our cottage (Robinson room) worked very well. The sheets were unbelievably comfortable and the breakfasts were delicious. We borrowed one of the crossword puzzle books and my wife spent part of an afternoon just relaxing and filling them out. We watched the sun go down both nights from the Adirondack chairs, which are shown in many of the Inn’s pictures. It’s even better in person.
We did not have time to explore the 80 acres of property but we did enjoy Skyline drive Saturday and Sunday, which was about an hour away. We also did some hiking in the Shenandoah National Park. We had dinner in Culpeper both nights as well, which is about 20 minutes away. Pinto Thai and Pancho Villa were very good.
Eric and Mary were also very attentive and even remembered little comments we made, like how I really like coffee but my wife can’t stand the smell right now.
I’m sure we’ll be back and we’ll recommend the experience to our friends.
    Thanks again!

Great dog friendly b&b with great innkeepers. Beautiful setting close to some very good wineries and restaurants.

Wow! My husband and I recently had the pleasure of getting married at Meander Plantation and what a fairytale it was! We purchased the Elopement Package through the website and we were quite nervous letting go of the reigns and having those at Meander take the lead, but Erica (the Innkeeper) knows exactly what she’s doing. Not only is she welcoming and accommodating but she’s also an exceptional event planner! Erica took care of ordering flowers, cake, champagne, finding an officiant, and arranging our dinner plans for the evening with our family. It was PERFECT. Our families were quite impressed with the flow of everything and simply loved their rooms and breakfast the next morning served by Chris. My husband and I were looking for a place with historic charm, seclusion, and beauty and we found it all at the Inn at Meander Plantation.

This little known gem is absolutely stunning. Customer service, food, scenery, location, rooms, and pet friendliness are all top tier, I can't say enough. The history of the property is nothing less than patriotically amazing, and there is a lot to explore both on site and nearby. Worth every penny!
