Dined at Monzas. Usually much better service/organized. Tonight was a real off night with missing sides, late entrees, and trouble splitting check.

My husband and I went there for dinner last night. He was excited about taking me there as he had been once before for a business dinner. The atmosphere was wonderful thought the waiter was a little in a hurry to get our order. We were served our bread and drinks. Our oysters rockafella came out it was delicious. Next he brought our wine which was wonderful. We sat there for over thirty mins waiting for our soup, when we were finally able to get our waiter he came back and said our entrees were ready did we still want our soup? We said no so he brought the entrees out , no presentation like the other tables. Didn't ask if we wanted cheese or pepper until we were half way through our dinner . Very, Very disappointing. Will not be going back. Jane Hicks

Ive never had a bad meal here. The service is wonderful and the food is absolutely outstanding. This is our go to place anytime we celebrate or simply want something delicious.

We've been going to Carmello's for years. It's a nice restaurant and was our go-to if we were too lazy to go towards DC. I remember a few times later in life the food being too salty, or bland, or missing something so we stopped going for awhile.
This time the food was good but the prices were higher. The duck was really good and probably worth it's price but the other dishes weren't really.
Growing up, Carmello's was a staple but now, I'd rather just go to one of the other places in Old Town.
I'd love for them to get it together, it's a nice atmosphere and we like going. But in the end, something seems to always just miss it's mark.

After Malone's closed Carmello's became the only choice for fine dining in Old Town Manassas and they do not disappoint. The cost of dining at Carmello's is pretty hefty, but you get what you are paying for. There is the ambiance of fine dining, seasonal menus, well trained wait staff, and quality food and drinks. Don't expect a quick bite, eating at Carmello's the table is yours for most of the evening. I have not had a bad meal at Carmello's from appetizer to dessert, drinks don't skimp on alcohol, and staging of courses has been satisfactory. Only negative I have heard was from a friend who doesn't like olives and wished she had some butter instead of the homemade tapenade that came with the complimentary warmed bread basket.
