Love the food and the chicken is truly awesome. Real home made Portuguese food that makes you feel like you're back in the mother land!! As a quick side note.... there is no more smoking in the restaurant, just thought I would throw that out there since I saw some comments about the smoking

We moved away and hadn't been here in a few months months. Watched as table next to us received olives, real wine glasses and proper attention from wait staff. We were ignored and treated poorly and received nothing as previously experienced. Guess if you don't visit regularly you don't matter .

Food is sooo delicious love the salmon, chicken, etc etc. highly recommend this place it’s always the small looking restaurants that have the better food.

Always a great meal at Espresso! They can get swamped and understaffed but seem in line with the usual, continental Portuguese speed. Don’t be an ugly American and expect fake Olive Garden service with mass produced food. This is a bar and restaurant, patronized by local Portuguese Americans. It’s the real deal. The owner is gracious and cares about his customers. My dad is a regular and he even calls in to make requests for the owner’s off-menu specials. Enjoy the atmosphere and food. Its like stepping out of NoVa basic. It’s one of our favorite family meet up places. Amazing plates of delicious food!
