Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

I’m a Cracker Barrel fan!! I have to give 3 stars this time because although the staff was friendly, and the food very good. The restaurant could use a good cleaning. Especially the rest rooms. They were filthy and the overwhelming smell in the women’s rest room spoiled my appetite. It’s hard to think that the people cooking and
Handing our meal have to use those rest rooms. Dining room floor was filthy to with food everywhere. Our sever Sharon was awesome.

Great food! Very accommodating for our party of 12 (incl 3 children, 2 of them in highchairs)... Great atmosphere and service, took a little longer than expected to receive our meal but once we did it was absolutely perfect. Better than other Cracker Barrels we have been to.

So I was doing a little daddy-daughter time with my baby, as we finish our meal we proceeded to shop at the little store not realizing what time it was. Everyone was greeting us with a smile and not once they told us that they were closed, instead they asked us if we were finding everything okay of course. I want to say thank you for the hospitality and patience.

This was my first time dining at this location in Virginia. The set up wad typical Cracker Barrel, bit I really appreciated the smiling face of the greeter, the welcoming smile and immediate seating of the hostess, the friendly server who was standing in the store area working on something and the courteous and professional manager who noticed that no one was at the register for two guest that were standing waiting. Once seated we were immediately greeted by a very nice server, who was helping her colleague with her tables. Our actual server walked up not to soon after, Aisha, and she wore a big, bright smile and took our drink orders and apologized for any delay. We all decided to get the new Southern Fried Chicken which includes two sides. Aisha was timely, bit I also encouraged her to gain her own groove so she can cover all of her tables when it's not particularly busy. Her service was good and she was very professional. We all enjoyed ourselves and left with our doggie bags and smiles. The chicken was delicious, I could have used a bit more Mac and cheese, but no worries it was still delicious. Restroom was clean, that is always a plus and it was a nice environment. I would definitely be a repeat customer at this location.

Food was fresh and hot. Good breakfast menu. Service took 45 minutes or so to get our food. The restaurant was maybe 1/2 filled.
