Eckhard's

Highest quality of food for the price on the Middle Peninsula and Northern Neck. Eckard's has a great menu offering German, Steaks, Seafood and Italian dishes. The service is exceptional and they have your table ready at the time you requested when you made reservations. The total bill is a little higher compared to other family restaurants on the Middle Peninsula and Northern Neck, but the quality and taste of the food is well worth the little bit of extra money you pay. The appetizers and homemade desserts are actually very reasonably priced. We do not dine out that often, but in the future when we do, Eckard's is worth the 30 minute drive and now our go-to family restaurant.

The hours and days open are hard to remember but the food is good. Their service and cook staff are top notch. The waitress we had last time was excellent, she let us take our time looking over the menu. She was very polite when talking to us. We had a question she didn't know the answer to, instead of making a guess she found out from another waitress. I'll be back again and I hope you can give them a try.

Really good and old school. Food is very good and so is the service. Very dated inside but that is part of the charm. I recommend it.

Nice atmosphere, well lit, pleasant, attentive staff. Small quaint dining room. Good food! Menu offers more American choices, only one German entre on menu for New Years but non holiday menu has more traditional German fare we're told. Love everything about restaurant. Highly recommend
