Cabo Fish Taco

Our visit during the summer solstice festival was amazing. For those that don't know, they cover their parking lot in sand. The adults enjoyed delicious margaritas while the kids played in the sand. Buckets were provided too, so there were lots of sand castles made. They even made a lettuce and tomato taco for my veggie loving daughter when she walked up with $1. Couldn't have asked for a better overall experience. Also it's worth noting that on my other, non-solstice visits, the food was always excellent. I don't have a bad thing to say about Cabo.

I've lived in Blacksburg area for 15 years and I always walked right by this place. Finally went there to eat today with family and was surprised and impressed how creative and flavorful their menu is. We sat outside and the atmosphere was perfect. Several people told me that it's too loud inside, especially when the university is in session.

Great service and great food! No vegan options on the menu, but the wait staff can help you veganize a few items including the excellent tofu burritos! I just wish they would offer a non-alcoholic beer or two.

Both the food and service are hit and and miss. We've had great tacos and service on most occasions. The last experience will probably be my last for a while. Some of the tuna was overcook and some of it was barely seared. Waiter was to busy talking about video games and eating his own food to take care of us. He blamed the bar for its not getting our drinks.

Everything we ordered was exceptional. The calamari is the best my husband and I have ever had. Our server was fast, friendly and made sure our first experience was great. We will definitely be back. I highly recommend eating here or ordering to go. Parking meters is around the corner. Handicap is free.
