Benny Marzano's

I'm going to take flak for this statement, but I think this is the best pizza in Blacksburg. I'm not saying there aren't cheaper options or possibly better gourmet pizzas (I'm looking at you Mellow Mushroom) but for a real pizza and and a big slice Benny's is your place!

Be sure to take a look at the daily specials, they are always coming up with some great combinations!

This pizza is delicious, and the slices are huge. Get it fresh from the oven, it'll be good regardless, but this timeframe puts it over the top. If you end up with leftovers, throw it in the oven to reheat, straight on the rack. Helps buy back the crispiness their crust offers.

Outstanding New York style pizza at a very good price. The pieces are huge but you use you only need one. If you're really hungry you can split a second piece with somebody else. They also serve a very tasty ice cream and a great frozen lemonade. The people are friendly and the service is pretty fast.

It's pizza. You can buy pizza and cold drinks. It achieves what it sets out to do. The pizza is giant and not super greasy, definitely better than a nation wide chain. It will make you feel like a fun spontaneous youth to go here and eat giant pizza.

Our area is a college town, which means it has lots of college town food: pizza, sandwiches, and burgers. Benny's stands out as being great pizza in a town with lots of mediocre food.
Their base pizza is good, and then they have all sorts of creative topping combinations to keep things interesting, taking it from good to great. And, they are quick with good prices.
There is not much seating, which is the only drawback. So, if you go during peak times, you may not find a place to sit.
